1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

Psalms 3:0-4 0. A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. 1. Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2. Isaiah 50:10 ¶Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
