Psalms 128
The various blessings which follow them that fear God.
A Song of degrees.
1. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walk-eth in his ways.
2. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5. The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6. Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

Psalm 128
C.M.
Blessed is each one that fears the LORD, and walketh in his ways; For of thy labour thou shall eat, and happy be always. Thy wife shall as a fruitful vine by thy house' sides be found: Thy children like to olive-plants about thy table round. Behold, the man that fears the LORD, thus blessed shall he be. The LORD shall out of Zion give his blessing unto thee: Thou shalt Jerus'lem's good behold whilst thou on earth dost dwell. Thou shalt thy children's children see, and peace on Israel.
While I sing, let me be ashamed, let me be pained on account of my deficiency in holiness, and of the hurt my family and the church of God have thereby sustained. Let me behold the great gain of true godliness, having the promises of this life, and of that which is to come.
