Ἰησοῦς οὖν οὐκέτι παρρησίᾳ περιεπάτει ἐν τοῖς Ἰουδαίοις, ἀλλὰ ἀπῆλθεν ἐκεῖθεν εἰς τὴν χώραν ἐγγὺς τῆς ἐρήμου, εἰς Ἐφραῒμ λεγομένην πόλιν, κἀκεῖ διέτριβε μετὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ.
