¶And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his hwrath went into the ipalace garden: and Haman jstood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; kfor he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.

NKJV: Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king.

ESV: And the king arose in his wrath from the wine-drinking and went into the palace garden, but Haman stayed to beg for his life from Queen Esther, for he saw that harm was determined against him by the king.
