¶Now there was at dJoppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called 2Dorcas: this woman was efull of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Ἐν Ἰόππῃ δέ τις ἦν μαθήτρια ὀνόματι Ταβιθά, ἣ διερμηνευομένη λέγεται Δορκάς· αὕτη ἦν πλήρης ἀγαθῶν ἔργων καὶ ἐλεημοσυνῶν ὧν ἐποίει.
