2 Corinthians 1:10
oWho delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
ὃς ἐκ τηλικούτου θανάτου ἐρρύσατο ἡμᾶς καὶ ῥύεται, εἰς ὃν ἠλπίκαμεν ὅτι καὶ ἔτι ῥύσεται·
Textual key: ‘doth deliver’ (second instance) is changed to ‘shall deliver’ in some versions; thus ‘delivered…doth deliver…will yet deliver’ becomes ‘delivered…will deliver…will yet deliver’.

In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. 21. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. 22. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. 23.
