1 Corinthians 8:8

nBut *meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, 2are we the better; neither, if we eat not, 3are we the worse.

But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

βρῶμα δὲ ἡμᾶς οὐ παρίστησι τῷ Θεῷ· οὔτε γὰρ ἐὰν φάγωμεν περισσεύομεν, οὔτε ἐὰν μὴ φάγωμεν ὑστερούμεθα.
