^pFor what man knoweth the things of a man, ^*save the spirit of man which is in him? ^qeven so the things of God knoweth no man, but ^rthe Spirit of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

τίς γὰρ οἶδεν ἀνθρώπων τὰ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου, εἰ μὴ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τὸ ἐν αὐτῷ; οὕτω καὶ τὰ τοῦ Θεοῦ οὐδεὶς οἶδεν, εἰ μὴ τὸ Πνεῦμα τοῦ Θεοῦ.

Jeremiah 17:9 ¶The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
